Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Izmir BSB (0-2) was defeated at home by top-ranked Balikesir (2-0) 85-78 on Saturday. Izmir BSB trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 20-15 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-85 at the end of the game. They outrebounded Izmir BSB 40-21 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Balikesir shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage.
