DBBL top team - Heli Girls (3-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (1-2) in Noerdlingen 58-52. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 18-7. But Wildcats Wolfenbuettel won second period 18-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Heli Girls dominated on the defensive end, holding Wildcats Wolfenbuettel to just 7 points in first quarter. It was a good game for Finnish swingman Heta Korpivaara (186-84, college: Seton Hall, agency: Regeneracom Sports) who led her team to a victory with 15 points and 5 rebounds. American guard Amanda Rego (170-86, college: San Diego) contributed with 6 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. The former international forward Roli-Ann Haldin (178-84, college: Liberty) answered with 11 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Samantha Whitcomb (178, college: Washington) added 12 points in the effort for Wildcats Wolfenbuettel. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Heli Girls have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 3-0 record.
