Very predictable result when top-ranked SC Rist Wedel (4-0) beat at home 7th ranked Dorsten (1-3) 77-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-67. Center Peter Huber-Saffer (208-80, agency: Court Side) fired 17 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) for the winners. Guard Marvin Boadu (193-89) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Four SC Rist Wedel players scored in double figures. SC Rist Wedel's coach Sebastian Gleim used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Christopher Jones (183-88, college: Prairie View A&M) produced 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import center Rickie Crews (205, college: Holy Family) added 19 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. SC Rist Wedel have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory SC Rist Wedel went down to second position (Group North) due to points difference. Loser Dorsten dropped to the eighth place with three games lost. SC Rist Wedel will face Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite.
