Very expected game when 14th ranked Science City Jena (1-4) lost to tenth ranked Finke Baskets (3-2) in Paderborn 92-98 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Science City Jena was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 35-28 charge of Finke Baskets, which allowed them to win the game. They made 36-of-41 free shots (87.8 percent) during the game. Science City Jena was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Israeli guard Guy Aud (188-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 12 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Science City Jena's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
