Regular Season Round 3: Konstantin - Mega Vizura 89-71

Round 3 in A League means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Nis where host Konstantin (2-1) beat league's leader Mega Vizura (2-1) 89-71 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Mega Vizura. The best player for the winners was naturalized Montenegrin guard Petar Despotovic (194-88, agency: Alti Sport) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds, 10 assists and 4 steals. Swingman Nemanja Gudzic (195-90) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Andrija Bojic (206-93, agency: Beo Basket) who recorded 13 points and 7 rebounds and international center Boban Marjanovic (222-88, agency: Beo Basket) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Five Mega Vizura players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Konstantin moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams including defeated Mega Vizura. Mega Vizura will play next round against Smederevo Vizura trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Konstantin will try to continue on its current victory against tenth ranked Vrsac on the road.
