Regular Season Round 3: Postojna - Parklji 109-104

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Postojna (2-1) beat at home bottom-ranked Parklji (0-2) 109-104. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Postojna forced 19 Parklji turnovers. It was a good game for guard Savo Milovic (194-86) who led his team to a victory with 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Tomaz Podboj (204-86) contributed with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Postojna's coach Predrag Milovic allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Guard Luka Hren (198-90, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and guard Matej Luznar (192-92) added 21 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) in the effort for Parklji. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Postojna moved-up to third place, which they share with 4 other teams. Parklji at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Crnomelj. Postojna will play against Sencur CP (#6) in Kranj in the next round. Parklji will play against Crnomelj (#11) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
