Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It looked good early as Oberhausen took an 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Eisvogel Freiburg had a 23-9 second period charge getting the lead and Oberhausen was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 72-75. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Julia Schindler (165-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists. American swingman Jahzinga Tracey (185, college: Indiana, PA) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Eisvogel Freiburg's coach Stefan Mienack allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American center Chanita Jordan (196-87, college: Bowie St., agency: Gamble Sports Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and Fijian guard Valerie Nainima (165-86, college: S.Carolina) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Oberhausen. Four Oberhausen players scored in double figures. Eisvogel Freiburg keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Oberhausen lost third consecutive game.
