Regular Season Round 5: Amager - SISU 56-90
Date: October 20, 2012
Undefeated leader SISU delivered the fifth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Amager (2-3) 90-56 in Kastrup. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Amager. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Amager's 30. It was a great shooting night for SISU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.5 percentage. American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) nailed 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and Kiki Lund (177-83, college: Dayton) accounted for 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Five SISU players scored in double figures. Power forward Lotte Tobiasen (183-91) came up with 16 points and forward Ena Viso (183-93) added 10 points respectively for Amager in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. SISU (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Amager at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. SISU's next round opponent will be Falcon (#3) at home, which may be the game of the day. Amager will play against Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
