There was no surprise in Ankara where bottom-ranked Hacettepe Univ. (0-2) was crushed by top-ranked Anadolu Efes (2-0) 87-54 on Monday. The game without a history. Anadolu Efes led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Hacettepe Univ.'s 34. They outrebounded Hacettepe Univ. 40-23 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American point guard Jordan Farmar (188-86, college: UCLA) who scored 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field).
