There was no surprise in Timisoara where 11th ranked Timba Timosoara (1-3) was defeated by seventh ranked Targu Mures (3-1) 77-63 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Targu Mures. Timba Timosoara was better in fourth quarter 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Targu Mures forced 22 Timba Timosoara turnovers. Montenegrin guard Branko Cuic (197-78) fired 27 points and 5 assists for the winners. Center Liviu Dumitru (203-79) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin, agency: I.D.S. Law) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Florin Popa (194) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Targu Mures have a solid three-game winning streak.
