Regular Season Round 6: LSU-Baltai - Sakalai 67-65

LSU-Baltai can celebrate finally their first win this season after two consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Sakalai (1-3) 67-65 on Tuesday. Sakalai was trailing by 6 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 21-18 charge of LSU-Baltai, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when LSU-Baltai made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was point guard Taurantas Tamosiunas (192-92) who scored 15 points and 9 rebounds. point guard Mindaugas Stasys (180-86) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. Four LSU-Baltai players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Justas Sinica (203-85) who recorded a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Tomas Cerneckis (190-88) added 15 points respectively. They share it with Neptunas. LSU-Baltai is looking forward to face league's leader Rudupis in Prienai in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
