Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Farul Const. (0-6) was smashed on the road by thirteenth ranked Pitesti (3-3) 96-74 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Pitesti led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Farul Const.'s 46. Pitesti forced 21 Farul Const. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Farul Const.'s players. Pitesti moved-up to eleventh place. Newly promoted Farul Const. still closes the standings with six games lost. Pitesti will face higher ranked Timisoara (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
