The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Dunav 8806 (1-1) in Burgas on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Neftochimic (3-0) 79-69. The game was mostly controlled by Neftochimic. Dunav 8806 managed to win second period 20-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American players dominated the game. It was a good game for power forward Ashley Gayle (193-90, college: Texas, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Tahnee Robinson (175-88, college: Nevada, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Five Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Defending champion Dunav 8806 dropped to the third position with one game lost. They share it with Montana 2003 and Haskovo 2012. Neftochimic are looking forward to face Montana 2003 (#5) on the road in the next round. Dunav 8806 will play against Levski in Sofia and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
