Regular Season Round 7: Suduva-Mantinga - Radviliskis 87-84

A very close game took place in Marijampole between Suduva-Mantinga and Radviliskis. Fourth ranked Suduva-Mantinga (5-2) got a very close home victory over 14th ranked Radviliskis (2-5). Suduva-Mantinga managed to escape with a 3-point win 87-84 on Friday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Radviliskis. At the losing side forward Janas Jurgo (200-83) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 14 rebounds and forward Vaidas Trepocka (200-80, agency: Court Side) scored 17 points. Five Suduva-Mantinga and four Radviliskis players scored in double figures. Suduva-Mantinga moved-up to third place, which they share with Mazeikiai. Loser Radviliskis keeps the fourteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Nafta Universitetas and Birstono. Suduva-Mantinga will meet Birstono (#14) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Radviliskis will play against Delikatesas in Joniskis and hope to secure a win.
