A very close game took place in Leipzig between BG Karlsruhe and USC Leipzig. Second ranked BG Karlsruhe (5-1) got a very close victory on the road over 16th ranked USC Leipzig (1-5). BG Karlsruhe managed to escape with a 1-point win 91-90 on Saturday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BG Karlsruhe have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Duesseldorf. Newly promoted USC Leipzig stay at the bottom place with five games lost. They share the position with Jena. BG Karlsruhe will meet at home Ehingen/Urspringschule (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. USC Leipzig will play against NBC (#3) in Nurnberg.
