Regular Season Round 5: Celarevo - Beocin 70-74

Bottom-ranked Celarevo (0-4) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 74-70 loss to eighth ranked Beocin (2-2) in Celarevo. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 16-12. But Celarevo won second period 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Beocin won last quarter 24-21. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Celarevo's 30 and made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Beocin moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Radnicki KG. Celarevo lost their fourth game in a row. They still closes the standings with four games lost. Beocin's next round opponent will be Sumadija KG (#9) in Kragujevac. Celarevo will play on the road against the league's second-placed Crvena Zvezda in Beograd and hopes to get finally their first victory.
