Regular Season Round 5: Quakenbrueck - Hannover 51-49

The most exciting game of round 5 in the 2.Bundesliga took place in Quakenbrueck. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Hannover (2-3) to third ranked Quakenbrueck Dragons (4-1) 51-49 on Saturday evening. Quakenbrueck Dragons maintains third place in North with 4-1 record behind leader Saarlouis. Newly promoted Hannover dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Quakenbrueck Dragons are looking forward to face Dolphins Bielefeld (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hannover will play against ASC Theresianum Mainz (#10) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
