Another exciting game was between fourth ranked Elizabeth-Basket and bottom-ranked Frankivsk-Hal. where Elizabeth-Basket (1-1) beat Frankivsk-Hal. (0-2) on the road with 18-point difference 73-55. The game was mostly controlled by Elizabeth-Basket. Frankivsk-Hal. was better in fourth quarter 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Frankivsk-Hal. 45-22 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Viktoriya Pazyuk (186-85, agency: New Trend Agency) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Tetyana Gaiv (180-88) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Russian center Ludmila Tymkova (190) replied with 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Kateryna Tereshchenko (174-89) added 16 points in the effort for Frankivsk-Hal.It was the only win of guest team this round and in all other games host teams recorded victories. Elizabeth-Basket left bottom position moving up to third place, which they share with Tim-Scuf. Frankivsk-Hal. at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Interkhim. Elizabeth-Basket will play against league's leader Bar Regina-B. on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
