The game between closely ranked teams ended with twelfth ranked Brasov's (3-5) home victory over 13th ranked Sp.Studentesc (1-6) 71-50 on Saturday. Swingman Taisia Lungu (182-89) came up with 12 points and Serbian guard Marina Ristic (168-87) added 6 points respectively for Sp.Studentesc in the defeat. Brasov moved-up to ninth place. Sp.Studentesc lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with Olimpia. Brasov will meet higher ranked CSM Targoviste (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sp.Studentesc will play against Oradea (#15) in Oradea and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
