Regular Season Round 5: Zeleznicar - Crnokosa 84-65

Very expected game when 10th ranked Crnokosa (1-4) was smashed by second ranked Zeleznicar (4-1) in Indjija 84-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Zeleznicar. Crnokosa was better in second period 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Crnokosa 38-24 including a 32-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Forward Slobodan Stanojevic (201-85) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Center Nikola Vujovic (207-93) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Zeleznicar players scored in double figures. Center Bojan Stanojevic (205-88) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Srdjan Stojanovic added 17 points in the effort for Crnokosa. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Zeleznicar maintains second place with 4-1 record behind leader Meridiana NS. Loser Crnokosa dropped to the thirteenth position with four games lost. Zeleznicar will face league's leader Meridiana NS in Novi Sad in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Crnokosa will play at home against Plana (#11) in Velika Plana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
