The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Bar Regina-B. as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Bar Regina-B. defeated one of their biggest challengers Tim-Scuf at home 83-69. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Bar Regina-B.. Tim-Scuf managed to win third quarter 18-11. Tim-Scuf's coach Inna Kochubei rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Dynamo. Defending champion Tim-Scuf keeps the third place with one game lost. They share the position with Elizabeth-Basket. Tim-Scuf will play next round against Interkhim trying to get back on the winning streak. Bar Regina-B. will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Elizabeth-Basket at home.
