An interesting game took place in Essen where higher ranked Finke Baskets (3-3) were upseton the court of thirteenth ranked ETB Wohnbau (2-4) 104-82. Finke Baskets were ahead by 9 points at the halftime before a 64-33 second half run of ETB Wohnbau. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Finke Baskets' 36. ETB Wohnbau players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for American forward Logan Stutz (205-88, college: Washburn) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Aaron Cook (186-83, college: Hartford, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) contributed with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 assists for the winners. Four ETB Wohnbau players scored in double figures. ETB Wohnbau's coach Igor Krizanovic felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Michael Jost (204-88) replied with 19 points and 6 rebounds and American swingman Jason Adams (197-89, college: Missouri So.) added 22 points in the effort for Finke Baskets. ETB Wohnbau moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Gotha and Crailsheim. Finke Baskets at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. ETB Wohnbau's next round opponent will be higher ranked Cuxhaven BasCats (#5) on the road and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
