The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Capljina Lasta as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Capljina Lasta defeated one of their biggest challengers Radnik B. at home 78-66. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Radnik B. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Montenegrin center Novak Popovic (207-81) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points. Serbian guard Krsto Bjelica (192-88) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Capljina Lasta players scored in double figures. Swingman Nebojsa Erkic (197-89) replied with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian center Bogdan Jovanovic (206-91) added 10 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for Radnik B.Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Newly promoted Radnik B. dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with 9 other teams. Radnik B. will play next round against Bosna ASA BHT trying to get back on the winning streak. Capljina Lasta will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Zrinjski HT at Mostar.
