Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Dresden (2-3) was outscored on the road by third ranked Weissenhorn Youngstars (4-1) 94-75 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Weissenhorn Youngstars's pressure prevailed and they won that period 29-16 extending their advantage to 19 points. They made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Weissenhorn Youngstars outrebounded Dresden 44-23 including a 18-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. International Daniel Theis (203-92) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. point guard Till-Joscha Joenke (190-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Weissenhorn Youngstars will face league's second-placed Hanau on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
