There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Trabzonspor (2-2) beat at home higher ranked Istanbul B.B. (2-2) 88-80 on Wednesday. Trabzonspor made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Istanbul B.B. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for American guard Henry Antwan Dobie (183-78, college: LIU Brooklyn) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 7 assists. Forward Emre Ekim (208-80, agency: EM-PA) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. Serbian power forward Marko Kolaric (213-84, college: Chaminade) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Sezgin Eris (185-85) added 17 points and 4 assists in the effort for Istanbul B.B.Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games.
