An interesting game for BC Vienna (5-0) which hosted in Wien 4th placed UBSC Graz (3-2). Leader BC Vienna managed to get a 6-point victory 96-90. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-16. But UBSC Graz won second period 22-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American swingman Michael Anthony Dale (197-84, college: S.Illinois) came up with 24 points and 7 rebounds and Croatian power forward Milan Stegnjaic (204-81) added 19 points and 12 rebounds respectively for UBSC Graz in the defeat. Four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. BC Vienna have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Loser UBSC Graz keeps the fourth position with two games lost. They share it with Klosterneub. and Gussing. BC Vienna will meet Kapfenberg Bulls (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. UBSC Graz will have a break next round.
