There was a small surprise when ninth ranked TSV Amicitia (2-4) won against on the road 7th ranked Bad Aibling (1-4) 56-44 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 56-44. TSV Amicitia outrebounded Bad Aibling 30-17 including 19 on the offensive glass. American swingman Kellindra Zackery (182, college: Newman) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Johnette Walker (173-87, college: Radford) chipped in 10 points and 4 steals during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Jezabel Ohanian (170-77) with 17 points and 4 assists and Serbian guard Julijana Kancevic (168-86) scored 5 points and 4 assists. TSV Amicitia moved-up to eighth place in South. Bad Aibling lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with four games lost. TSV Amicitia will face higher ranked Friendsfactory Germering (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Bad Aibling will play against TG 1889 Sandhausen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
