Regular Season Round 6: Koksokh-Stal - Pulsar 76-95

Bottom-ranked Koksokh-Stal (0-6) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their sixth consecutive match to seventh ranked BC-93 Pulsar (2-4) 95-76. The game without a history. BC-93 Pulsar led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-22 charity shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Strangely Koksokh-Stal outrebounded BC-93 Pulsar 42-20 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Ilya Shemosyuk (188-85) notched 34 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Maksym Ozhegov (190-90, agency: New Trend Agency) supported him with 27 points. Even a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds by power forward Aleksander Kolomiychuk (202-91) did not help to save the game for Koksokh-Stal. Power forward Jan Selivanov (200-79) added 12 points and 10 rebounds. BC-93 Pulsar maintains seventh position with 2-4 record. Koksokh-Stal at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Koksokh-Stal will play again at home against BC-93 Pulsar (#7) in Rovno and hopes to get finally their first victory.
