TB2L top team - Selcuk Universitesi (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Yesilgiresun (1-4) in Konya 75-58. The game was mostly controlled by Selcuk Universitesi. Yesilgiresun managed to win second period 16-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Selcuk Universitesi dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Yesilgiresun's 26. The best player for the winners was center Ufuk Gurgen (208-77) who scored 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Guard Osman Orcun Gollu (190-77) chipped in 17 points. Selcuk Universitesi's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Alex Gordon (184-85, college: Vanderbilt) produced 9 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and the other American import center John Ofoegbu (206-84, college: Idaho St.) added 12 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the guests.
