Another exciting game was played in Balikesir between fifth ranked Botas and 6th ranked Burhaniye Bld where Botas (2-1) crushed Burhaniye Bld (1-2) on the road with 21-point difference 86-65. The game without a history. Botas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Burhaniye Bld's 36. Botas had a 28-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Burhaniye Bld's players. It was a good game for center Tilbe Senyurek (188-95) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 18 rebounds. point guard Busra Akbas (170-95) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Four Botas players scored in double figures. Botas' coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Hande Celebi (-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 13 rebounds and Cevriye Sel (-88) added 11 points and 5 assists in the effort for Burhaniye Bld. Botas moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Yunus. Burhaniye Bld at the other side keeps the sixth position with two games lost. They share it with 55 Genclik. Botas will play against Yalova (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Burhaniye Bld will play against Celtispor (#9) in Bursa to get more than just one victory in their record.
