Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Edirne (2-1) outleveled at home bottom-ranked Sakarya (0-3) 100-40 on Sunday. The game without a history. Edirne led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Sakarya to just 3 points in fourth quarter. Edirne held Sakarya to an opponent 23.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.5 percent accuracy of the winners and had 28 for 41 from the free-throw line, while Sakarya only scored five points from the stripe. Edirne forced 29 Sakarya turnovers and outrebounded them 58-38 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sakarya was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch.
