Regular Season Round 7: SISU - Vaerlose 79-62

An interesting game for SISU (7-0) which hosted in Copenhagen 4th placed Vaerlose (3-4). Leader SISU had an easy win 79-62. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 45-25 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. SISU made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Vaerlose turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American center Marie Malone (191-89, college: Hofstra) contributed with 12 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Vaerlose at the other side keeps the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Horsholm and Amager. SISU are looking forward to face Aabyhoj (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Vaerlose will play against Falcon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
