Regular Season Round 4: Dynamo - Tim-Scuf 70-75

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Dynamo (3-1) in Kyiv on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Tim-Scuf (2-2) 75-70. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Dynamo. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 75-70. Worth to mention a great performance of center Miriam Uro-Nilie (190-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 17 rebounds. International guard Inna Kochubei (174-82) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Tim-Scuf players scored in double figures. American guard Juanita Ward (180-86, college: Syracuse, agency: Merit Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds and center Taisiya Bovykina (187-89) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Dynamo. Defending champion moved-up to third place, which they share with Elizabeth-Basket. Dynamo at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. Tim-Scuf is looking forward to face Elizabeth-Basket (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dynamo will play against the league's leader Bar Regina-B. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
