Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Bursa BSB (4-0) beat on the road 7th ranked Izmir BSB (1-3) 75-57 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Bursa BSB. Izmir BSB was better in third quarter 13-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bursa BSB forced 21 Izmir BSB turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Gamze Turkoglu (-83) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 14 rebounds and forward Dilek Bicer (183-83) who added 17 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Revaziye Atila (-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Muruvvet Menderes (-79) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bursa BSB have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position in Group B with 4-0 record. Izmir BSB at the other side keeps the seventh place with three games lost. Bursa BSB will face Harranspor (#9) in Sanliurfa in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Izmir BSB will play at home against Anadolu Univ. in Eskisehir and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
