Regular Season Round 4: Botas - Yalova 91-55

Very predictable result in Adana where fourth ranked Botas (3-1) smashed bottom-ranked Yalova (0-4) 91-55 on Saturday. The game without a history. Botas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Botas forced 27 Yalova turnovers and outrebounded them 37-26 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Busra Akbas (170-95) who helped to win the game recording 15 points and 6 steals and point guard Serife Onar (167-96) who added 16 points during the contest. Four Botas players scored in double figures. At the losing side Ayca Okutan (-88) responded with 21 points and Birsu Dincer (-92) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Botas have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Dizdar. Yalova at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with four games lost. Botas will face league's second-placed Nallihan in Ankara in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Yalova will play at home against Celtispor (#8) in Bursa and hopes to get finally their first victory.
