Regular Season Round 8: Kirovograd - Musson 65-82

An interesting game for Musson (7-0) which played road game in against 3rd ranked Kirovograd (3-4). Top-ranked Musson had an easy win 82-65. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kirovograd. The game without a history. Musson led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kirovograd was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Dmitro Palanichuk (185-90) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Dimitri Shevchenko (197-85) who added 17 points during the contest. Guard Ivan Gusarov (190-87) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Anton Rozhkov (198-88) scored 12 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Musson have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Newly promoted Musson maintains first position with 7-0 record. Kirovograd at the other side dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. Musson will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kirovograd will play again at home against the league's leader Musson (#1) in Symferopil and hopes to get back on the winning track.
