Seventh ranked TED Kolejliler (3-2) crushed at home 9th ranked Hacettepe (2-3) by 24 points 84-60, which is the biggest margin this round. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hacettepe. The game was mostly controlled by TED Kolejliler. Hacettepe was better in fourth quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TED Kolejliler had a 37-23 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Nedim Yucel (203-79) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds. Serbian center Jovo Stanojevic (208-77, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. TED Kolejliler's next round opponent will be league's leader Galatasaray in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hacettepe will play at home against Mersin (#16) in Akdeniz.
