Levski Sofia's coach Konstantin Papazov felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Simeon Tsenov (196-82) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds and guard Rosen Sofroniev (193-80) added 14 points in the effort for Spartak Pleven. Levski Sofia moved-up to second place, which they share with Tundja Yambol. Loser Spartak Pleven dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Levski Sofia will face Rilski Sportist (#5) in Samokov in the next round. Spartak Pleven will play at home against Euroins Cherno More (#4) in Varna.
