Regular Season Round 10: Olimpas - Perlas-MRU 80-82

A very interesting game took place in . It ended with only two-point home defeat of higher ranked Olimpas (6-4) to twelfth ranked Perlas-MRU (5-5) 82-80 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Olimpas. Perlas-MRU made 19-of-24 charity shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Forward Zydrunas Stankus (197-78, college: Campbell) notched 20 points and 5 assists to lead the effort and power forward Mantas Virbalas (203-88) supported him with 19 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). Even 20 points by guard Tomas Domarkas (182-91) did not help to save the game for Olimpas. Guard Ignas Razutis (185-87) added 15 points and 4 assists for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Perlas-MRU moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Olimpas keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Perlas-MRU's next round opponent will be Birstono (#17) and are hoping to win another game.
