Date: November 11, 2012
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Usak (5-1) smashed at home 8th ranked Balikesir (3-3) 82-62 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Usak. Balikesir was better in fourth quarter 20-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Guard Selaattin Akyol (180-86) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Pervis Pasco (206-81, college: Kansas St.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Yunus Akcay (-89) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Balikesir's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Usak keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Darussafaka and Selcuk Univ. Balikesir lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the eighth place with three games lost. Usak will face league's second-placed Selcuk Universitesi in Konya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
