Rather expected game in Bursa where bottom-ranked Celtispor (0-4) was crushed by sixth ranked Burhaniye Bld (2-2) 110-27 on Sunday. The game without a history. Burhaniye Bld led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Celtispor to just 5 points in fourth quarter and to 12 points in first half. Burhaniye Bld held Celtispor to an opponent 17.7 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Burhaniye Bld forced 38 Celtispor turnovers and outrebounded them 64-32 including a 33-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Burhaniye Bld looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Celtispor's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Hande Celebi (-90) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds and Cevriye Sel (-88) who added 25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Burhaniye Bld players scored in double figures. At the losing side Bengu Seden Esen (-95) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Zehra Kucuk scored 5 points. Celtispor's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Burhaniye Bld maintains sixth position in Group A with 2-2 record, which they share with Yunus. Newly promoted Celtispor still closes the standings with four games lost. Burhaniye Bld will face Bakospor (#10) in Gaziantep in the next round. Celtispor will play on the road against Yalova and hopes to get finally their first victory.
