Rather expected game in Istanbul where 8th ranked Aliaga (2-3) was defeated by fifth ranked Anadolu Efes (4-1) 83-67. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Anadolu Efes's pressure prevailed and they won that period 19-7 extending their advantage to 16 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aliaga to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Anadolu Efes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Aliaga helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities.
