Rather expected game in Istanbul where 8th ranked Aliaga (2-3) was defeated by fifth ranked Anadolu Efes (4-1) 83-67. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Anadolu Efes's pressure prevailed and they won that period 19-7 extending their advantage to 16 points. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aliaga to just 7 points in fourth quarter. Anadolu Efes players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Aliaga helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Slovenian Sasha Vujacic (201-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds.
