NBL top team - Neftochimic (6-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Haskovo 2012 (2-4) 108-52. The game without a history. Neftochimic led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Haskovo 2012's 32. Neftochimic had a 28-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Neftochimic especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 62.5 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 1 passes made by Haskovo 2012's players. Haskovo 2012 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Ukrainian guard Olga Dubrovina (170-87, agency: LBM Management) who led her team to a victory scoring 31 points and 9 assists (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). International forward Maria Zhelyazkova (181-86, agency: Promotex) helped adding 24 points and 7 rebounds. Four Neftochimic players scored in double figures. Haskovo 2012's coach Elena Stankova gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Neftochimic have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Haskovo 2012 lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Levski and Montana 2003. Neftochimic will play against Beroe (#3) in Stara Zagora in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Haskovo 2012 will play at home against Levski in Sofia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
