There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked RSV Eintracht (2-6) beat higher ranked Dorsten (4-4) in Stahnsdorf 84-72 on Saturday. The game without a history. RSV Eintracht led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Forward Tobias Grauel (195-86) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Matt Reid (185-84, college: Cameron, agency: Athlete Management Group) contributed with 15 points for the winners. RSV Eintracht's coach Kai Buchmann used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Blake Poole (195-88, college: St.Martin's) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Christopher Jones (183-88, college: Prairie View A&M) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Dorsten. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. RSV Eintracht moved-up to tenth place in Group North, which they share with Wulfen and SU Medien. Loser Dorsten dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. RSV Eintracht will face higher ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (#8) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Dorsten will play against Herten Lions and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
