Very important is a road loss of third ranked Osnabruck (5-3) against fourth ranked Wildcats Wolfenbuettel (5-3) on Saturday night. Visiting Osnabruck was crushed by Wildcats Wolfenbuettel in Wolfenbuettel 97-49. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Osnabruck. The game without a history. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Osnabruck to just 5 points in second quarter. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Osnabruck's 34 and made 21-of-26 charity shots (80.8 percent) during the game. Wildcats Wolfenbuettel will play against league's leader TSV 1880 Wasserburg at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Osnabruck will play against the league's second-placed Heli Girls in Noerdlingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
