Regular Season Round 10: Leipzig - Cuxhaven 66-77

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Cuxhaven BasCats (6-4) beat on the road bottom-ranked USC Leipzig (2-8) 77-66 on Sunday. The game without a history. Cuxhaven BasCats led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Jeremiah Kelly (182, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Monyea Pratt (195-85, college: Stillman) contributed with 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Cuxhaven BasCats players scored in double figures. Center Chris Gadley (207-87, college: Canisius) replied with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 4 blocks and guard Harry Marshall (183-88, college: Indiana St., agency: Limelight Hoops) added 12 points in the effort for USC Leipzig. Cuxhaven BasCats moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted USC Leipzig stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Cuxhaven BasCats will face Ehingen/Urspringschule (#12) in Allmendingen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. USC Leipzig will play on the road against Kirchheim Knights (#13).
