We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Bonn where 9th ranked Telekom Baskets (4-4) were defeated by tenth ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (5-4) 100-87 on Sunday. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Eisbaeren Bremerhaven's pressure prevailed and they won that period 29-21 extending their advantage to 13 points. They made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 56.3 percentage. 27 personal fouls committed by Telekom Baskets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven is looking forward to face higher ranked ALBA Berlin (#6) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
