Regular Season Round 5: Antakya - Tarsus Bld 71-84

Round 5 most important game was a victory of Tarsus Bld over 6th ranked Antakya 84-71 on Sunday night. The game was mostly controlled by Tarsus Bld. Antakya managed to win fourth quarter 25-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American Delisha Milton-Jones (186-74, college: Florida, agency: Josep and Nicolas) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Danielle Marie Robinson (178-89, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 22 points and 8 assists for the winners. American Jolene Anderson (175-86, college: Wisconsin) answered with 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import swingman Shekinna Stricklen (187-90, college: Tennessee) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Antakya. Tarsus Bld (3-2) moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ceyhan Bld and Botas. Antakya at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Tarsus Bld is looking forward to face league's leader Fenerbahce in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Antakya will play on the road against Ceyhan Bld (#4) in Adana and is hoping to win this game.
