Very predictable result when ninth ranked TBB Trier (5-3) outscored at home bottom-ranked LTi 46ers (1-8) 73-48 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by TBB Trier. LTi 46ers managed to win third quarter 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding LTi 46ers to just 4 points in first quarter. TBB Trier made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded LTi 46ers 35-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American swingman Brian Harper (206-85, college: Paine, agency: Pro One Sports) who scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. International Andreas Seiferth (209-89) chipped in 11 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Ryan Brooks (193-88, college: Temple, agency: Pro One Sports) who recorded 14 points and the other American import guard Jimmy Baxter (198-80, college: S.Florida, agency: Three Eye Sports) added 7 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TBB Trier moved-up to seventh place. LTi 46ers lost eighth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. TBB Trier are looking forward to face s Oliver Baskets (#12) in Wuerzburg in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. LTi 46ers will play at home against Telekom Baskets (#10) in Bonn and are hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
