Important game to mention about took place in Allmendingen. Eleventh ranked Finke Baskets (5-5) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 10th ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (4-6) 74-71 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ehingen/Urspringschule won third quarter 17-11. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a very good performance for American swingman Jason Adams (197-89, college: Missouri So.) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Naturalized Israeli guard Guy Aud (188-89) contributed with 10 points and 5 assists for the winners. Aud is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Andre Calvin (196-85, college: Drake) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Jake Anderson (187-87, college: Iowa St.) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ehingen/Urspringschule. Finke Baskets moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Ehingen/Urspringschule dropped to the eleventh position with six games lost. Finke Baskets will face league's leader Duesseldorf Baskets at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Ehingen/Urspringschule will play against Cuxhaven BasCats (#5).
